Why does underwear have a fly
Over, under, through the fly I use the fly on my boxers all the time i just dont want to undo my belt every time I want to take a piss ; clint packing peanuts. It's useful when you have a nice shirt tucked in to your pants and don't want to un-do the whole thing to urinate.
Otherwise, no. I do hate it when I gotta go really bad and I can't seem to find it though. Depends on the kind of pants. If I'm wearing boxers with dress slacks and a belt, I generally find it easier to use the fly on the boxers, rather than do the little pull-down-the-underwear-waistband-and-whip-out-the-biggun thing. Mostly because the fly on slacks isn't the largest hole in the world, and the mechanics of reaching up to the waist and tugging down is uncomfortable.
With my baggy jeans or cargo pants, or with sweats, I do not use the fly. Generally, when I wear a belt, I use the fly. But this is also true. Never use it, on any type of underwear. Teh fly sux! I use the fly in my briefs when I've got my wallet, keys, etc. Otherwise my pants would fall down. Do you have no ass or hips? Wears clown trousers? I pull my pants down to my ankles and my undies too. Then I lean back as far as I can for maxium arc. Also I sometimes yell and make noises.
