Where to get celebi in heart gold

This Celebi will activate a special bit of backstory into the whole Rocket system. When you have your Celebi, go to Ilex Forest and itneract with the shrine. Soon after, Celebi starts glowing and throws you back in time. Unsure what's going on, you quickly overhear a conversation between your rival, Silver, and his father.

I heard that there is another way to catch Celebi in HeartGoldSoulSilver other than the events on the official website or the promo events. I heard before that if you catch all Unown letters and go to the shrine then Celebi will appear but I don't know if this is true or not. Sorry, but Celebi is only distributed through the special one-time events that have long since ended. The only way to get one now is to use an action replay.

However, you might be able to find some people willing to trade one on the GTS. It's complex stuff, so you might want to look it up on serebii. They have a section dedicated to Celebi called, "The Celebi Factor".

I don't think you can catch Celebi outside of promo events in those games. Now, I may be wrong, but it's best to check websites like serebii.

You can also make it shiny with further codes. Is it possible for this celebi to be shiny? This link worked for me. You can do something similar with pokemon ranger games, but instead of dns you need the save file with the events. Doing this I got darkrai shaymin, heatran and manaphy. I had beaten everything, got a level typhlosion, and got all the legendaries. The only thing that sucks about this is you will get your celebi and your game is almost complete.. If the Pokemon you give to the daycare man is shiny, it will carry over.

I got a legitimate shiny Celebi by using a cloned red Gyarados! Her name is Vidalia. Lmao I did this for BW2 and I got a shiny giratina, meloetta, and a championships shiny metagross in a row.
