I'm pretty sure I uninstalled it before and the needed it for some game I was playing. But can't remember which one. Will find out I noticed that the word Akami is nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Although there is an Akami in the uninstall programs menu, it still seems a bit weird. I'm sure it was installed with one of my many games turds.
